Definitely a good fun camping weekend involving plenty of good banter, booze,
scenery, weather and paddling. The main activity is eddie hopping down the river
Saturday involved a group doing the Top Tryweryn and an other doing the Lower with
all meeting on the Lower splitting to 2 more manageable groups all paddling down to
meet and paddle the Bala Mills Falls
Sunday involved most of us doing different sections of the Upper Tryweryn working
the eddies, helping and looking after each other
Congrats to:
Sam fearlessly doing all the Tryweryn, Martin S neat paddling, Martin C finding
eddies and lines purposely at long last, Dave Walker getting his roll back, teaching
and not losing a paddle, Chris Iliffe being the cheekiest chappy of the lot and
teaching, Taz and Claire holding the longest conversation ever seen on a river run,
Stu’s waterfall edging, Mick’s organising, Dave cameraman Geek, Ex curly Dave and
Scott’s tricks.
