Equipment

PM has gathered the details for polo boats and asked for suggestions of how much to ask for after some discussion it was decided to try asking for £300 total. If there is not much interest offers could be considered.
Play boats, it was reported that one of them has a thigh brace missing
The two Pyranha recoils – PM advised they go for approx. £250 each. It was agreed to ask for £175 or best offer.
The Riot is quite tatty so it was agreed that this would be open to offers.
When PM returns from holiday he & NS will do the pad lock on the far container.
PM is planning on doing a working session to sort the canoes with replacing the painters with new ones with the line that has already been purchased. The foam blocks in the canoes will also be removed & stored for the Winter.
A new SUP paddle will be purchased before the new lake sessions start
IT was suggested & agreed to top up the woodchip before the start of next season.
The development meeting still needs to be organised with Mick & Helen. Action: P Riley & H Clarke to organise
Pending the discussions with Mick & Helen plans will need to be discussed regarding extending the decking and steps, roof of the containers will need to checked for repair. PM knows someone who could repair if they are found to be in need of repair.
It was suggested if they do need to repair to put a single piece across all the containers which would mean the canoes would be covered. It was asked if vents need fitting in the container nearest the lake.
PM advised that he was looking to have some buoys set up for training purposes. KS advised that she had seen this done using tennis balls and rope so that they could be put away when not in use. There was concern with this idea that there could be a potential risk of snagging if there was a swimmer.
KS suggested that due to the massive increase in popularity and upcoming changes in 2019 that the club may want to consider in the long term of getting some modern sit on tops, they would also be suitable for sea surfing & inshore paddling. The Committee felt it would be better to invest in more SUPS.

It was noted that the rent for the lake is due at the beginning of the year
